The University of Georgia engages internationally with institutions and entities to further its teaching, research, and outreach missions. The International Partnerships unit of the Office of International Education serves as both a conduit and resource for UGA's international engagement. We assist UGA colleges, departments, and faculty with international collaboration development, contract negotiation and management, delegation hosting protocol, as well as with strategic planning for partnership development and implementation.
Strategic international partnerships help build and expand the institution's capacity for teaching, research, and service. Moreover, rich bi- and multi-lateral partnerships create strong networks that encourage innovation and discovery. Successful and productive international partnerships help the University thrive and remain competitive in a global economy.
