For those students eligible for OPT ( Optional Practical Training) and wanting to file for work authorization following program of study completion this semester, please see the below schedule of Q&A Sessions.

Students MUST complete the online workshop available at, http://international.uga.edu/issis/opt_workshop, before signing up to attend a Q&A session AND should bring their complete OPT application, http://issis.uga.edu/docs/Student_Section/POST_Completon_OPT_app.pdf , to the session for review. These Q&A sessions will be geared toward application review only.

For those students wanting additional OPT information or information on Beyond OPT, they are encouraged to attend one of the BIG OPT Workshops, see dates and time below. These two workshops will review Post and STEM OPT and include a workshop on other work visas and status options, presented by Attorney Charles Kuck. There will also be a 30 Q&A following each session for general questions.

All Q&A sessions and the BIG OPT Workshops will be held in the Office of International Education Main Conference Room, 1324 South Lumpkin Street.
